The XXXG-01W Wing Gundam as it first appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing — angular, purposeful, and iconic — now faithfully reproduced in Bandai's Master Grade 1/100 line. This is the kit that defined Heero Yuy's legend in After Colony 195, rebuilt with MG-grade engineering for modelers who want the authentic TV series silhouette.

The defining feature of this kit is its fully realized variable wing mechanism, faithfully recreating the Wing Gundam's transformation between MS form and Bird Mode. The wing area deploys for a wider action range in MS mode, while Bird Mode locks into a compact, aerodynamically coherent flying form — achieving the balance and cohesion that defined the suit's stealth operations. A dedicated locking mechanism secures the rifle and key joints during transformation, while the waist crank arm and side arm deliver multi-directional MS performance. Leg deformation links the ankle and knee joints into Bird Mode storage position seamlessly.

Molded across 13 runners in color-accurate plastic, the kit snaps together with no paint required. Bundled decal options include a foil seal sheet, masking stickers, and Gundam Decals for a polished, display-ready finish.
