    This box set release is a milestone for Bandai's MG line of MSV-R Mobile Suits, based on the renowned Gundam designer Kunio Okawara's redrawn Mobile Suit designs, which celebrate the 30th anniversary of "Mobile Suit Gundam." The set features two impressive MG kits: the previously-released Gundam and G-Fighter, molded in Real Type colors.

    The Gundam kit's snap-fit plastic parts come molded in color, eliminating the need for painting. Its well-engineered inner frame allows for dynamic and realistic poses, even when the transformable Core Fighter is docked inside its torso. The kit comes with various armaments, including a beam rifle, two beam sabers, a shield, a hyper bazooka, a Gundam Hammer, and a beam javelin. Additionally, three unpainted 1/100 figures of Amuro Ray are included.

    The G-Fighter kit showcases impressive realistic mechanical details, from the inside of its container compartment to its main generator. It consists of two main separable components, G-Part A and G-Part B, which can be combined with the Gundam Real Type Color Ver.2.0 kit to form six G-Modules. The G-Fighter can also be used as a Sub Flight System, with the Gundam standing atop the spacecraft with stoppers holding its feet in place. The kit comes with various accessories, including a shield, a Hyper Hammer, landing gears, and a support arm attachment for mid-flight displays. It also includes same-scale figures of Sayla Mass and Sleggar Law, as well as two crew members, all molded in white. Marking stickers and dry transfer decals are also provided for customizing the completed models.
