HGUC 1/144 064 MS-05B Zaku I

The Mobile Suit That Started It All

Before the Zaku II became the face of the Principality of Zeon, there was the MS-05B Zaku I, Zeon's very first mass-production mobile suit. Fielded in the early days of the One Year War in Mobile Suit Gundam (0079), the Zaku I wrote the opening chapter of Universal Century warfare, and its unmistakable silhouette, rounded armor, single mono-eye, and deep Zeon green, remains one of the most beloved designs in Gundam history. Even aces like Ramba Ral trusted a Zaku I in combat, proving this veteran machine was far more than a stepping stone.
