HG 1/144 GX-Bit Brings Gundam X's Remote Army to Gunpla
Bandai Spirits has announced the HG 1/144 GX-Bit from After War Gundam X for release in January 2027. A prototype was also displayed at the 64th All Japan Model & Hobby Show, giving fans a first look at the long-awaited unmanned mobile suit in High Grade form.

One Kit or an Entire Remote Squadron
The FX-9900 GX-Bit was deployed alongside the GX-9900 Gundam X during the 7th Space War. It carries performance and weaponry equivalent to its parent machine, while a Newtype pilot can control as many as twelve GX-Bits simultaneously through the Flash System.
That makes the kit unusually tempting in multiples: twelve GX-Bits fighting alongside Gundam X can bring a combined total of thirteen Satellite Cannons to bear. Even a single model, however, represents an important part of the series' most memorable battlefield system.

New Sculpting and Separate Chest Vulcans
The displayed prototype shows newly molded parts reproducing the GX-Bit's clean animation design. The two chest vulcan barrels are separate pieces, adding definition to a small but important detail on the torso.

The prototype also demonstrates the backpack-mounted Satellite Cannon in its deployed state, confirming that the kit can recreate the weapon's signature firing configuration rather than only its stowed silhouette.

For Gundam X collectors, GX-Bit opens the door to displays ranging from a single support unit to a full remote-controlled formation alongside the series' lead mobile suits.
