METAL ROBOT SPIRITS ν Gundam HWS Set Adds Heavy Armor and Heavy Firepower

The ν Gundam is getting a serious firepower upgrade. BANDAI SPIRITS has revealed the METAL ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE MS> ν Gundam HWS & Display Parts Set, an expansion package designed for the separately sold METAL ROBOT SPIRITS ν Gundam figure. With additional armor, oversized weapons, and dedicated display components, the set turns the sleek mobile suit into a heavily equipped combat machine.

A Full Heavy Weapon System Conversion

HWS stands for Heavy Weapon System, and this set is built around a substantial visual and tactical transformation. Add-on armor for the chest, waist, and legs gives the ν Gundam a broader, more imposing silhouette while preserving the distinctive Fin Funnels on its back. The result is a version of the mobile suit that trades its usual streamlined profile for heavy armor and overwhelming firepower.

Hyper Mega Rifle and High Mega Shield

The weapon loadout is just as important as the armor. The Hyper Mega Rifle gives the figure an appropriately massive ranged weapon, while the High Mega Shield adds another large-scale piece of equipment to the configuration. Together with the new armor, these accessories create the aggressive, fully armed appearance that defines the HWS setup.

Display the Equipment as a Maintenance Scene

The included display and connector parts add another way to enjoy the set. Instead of mounting every piece on the figure, collectors can arrange the armor and weapons separately to create a display reminiscent of a mobile suit maintenance base. That makes the package more than a simple parts swap: it can become the centerpiece of a complete mechanical display scene.

One important detail: this package does not include the ν Gundam figure itself. It is an upgrade set for collectors who already own, or plan to purchase, the separately sold METAL ROBOT SPIRITS ν Gundam.
