HG 1/144 Bau Bahlam Wields a Massive Chainsaw in Gundam Rogue Orbit
Bandai Spirits has revealed the HG 1/144 Bau Bahlam, another new High Grade kit from the upcoming action game GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT. Piloted by a sand pirate leader, this heavy-looking mobile suit brings dense mechanical detail and an oversized chainsaw to the HG lineup in February 2027.
A Sand Pirate's Heavy Mobile Suit
Bau Bahlam's sandy yellow armor gives it a rugged, grounded appearance that fits its pirate pilot. The mono-eye camera, blade-shaped antenna, and rounded armor surfaces add a clear Zeon-inspired flavor, while the 1/144-scale parts capture the game's realistic mechanical styling.
Articulated joints are designed for the mobile suit's agile in-game movements. Deployable armor sections on the arms and lower legs also let builders change its silhouette and create more dynamic action displays.
A Chainsaw Built to Steal the Show
The massive chainsaw is the kit's defining accessory. Finely detailed parts reproduce the side-mounted engine and densely packed cutting teeth, giving the weapon a convincing mechanical structure rather than a simple flat silhouette.
The chainsaw can hang from the backpack when not in use. A lead wire is also included to recreate the pose of pulling its starter cord, adding a small but distinctive touch straight from the weapon's operating design.
As with the game's customization system, Bau Bahlam's parts and weapons are compatible with other HG kits from the GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT series, opening up more cross-kit loadout possibilities.
